A research project conceived and developed in the OCHS to record the experiences of Hindus who have settled in Britain. The project was a valuable opportunity to record and preserve this unique aspect of Hindu culture and British history. The project involved conducting and recording interviews with Hindus who migrated to Britain from other countries around the world. The BHOHP received Heritage Lottery funding and the results of this ground-breaking work will be made accessible to scholars and researchers for future studies and publications.
