Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships
Scholarships change lives. For many of the world's brightest
students, the only way they can realise their dreams of studying
at Oxford is through a scholarship. A scholarship to Oxford
allows the most able students to benefit from the Oxford's
outstanding resources. The research undertaken by students with
scholarships, many of whom come from some of the world's most
disadvantaged countries, is essential and enables the OCHS to
continue at the forefront of teaching and research in Hindu
Studies.
Scholarships help students like Amanda Mills, from South Africa, who was able to come to Oxford to study Hindu theology thanks to a generous benefaction from The Krishna Foundation (USA). The donation provides for students to read for a graduate degree and has helped 4 students to date.
