Friends and benefactors

Join us
If you are passionate about Indian culture, then OCHS is the ideal friend and partner. By joining OCHS you can help to ensure the growth of this remarkable institution. If you are involved with Indian communities and cultures, then OCHS provides ideal sponsorship opportunities for making your mark, and making a difference.

The OCHS is dependent on public subscription and grants and receives no financial support from the Government or University funds.

The Centre relies on donations from individuals, companies and foundations to enable it to flourish.

OCHS Friends
Friends of the OCHS become part of an informed community that is united by its concern for Indian culture and its study.

OCHS naming opportunities
Naming Opportunities offer donors the chance to become a permanent part of Oxford’s history, helping a vibrant and thoughtful tradition to flourish in future generations.

OCHS endowments
OCHS is seeking endowments that will continue to secure the future of the Centre, allowing it to develop its academic excellence and international contribution to one the worlds most ancient cultures.

“I support the OCHS because it facilitates young intellectuals who help to preserve and develop Indic culture for modern times, and develop understanding between traditions. This kind of understanding nurtures good economic and political relationships in our global context”
Alfred Ford
Great-grandson of Henry Ford

“We’re offering our support to show that broad minded education with high standards is the priority for our future.”
Pramod Thakkar
Jalaram Mandir, Leicester
